What distinguishes this course is its holistic, transdisciplinary approach. You'll explore:

• The Cyberdelic XD Canvas: Your core design tool for mapping Reality Planes (VR, AR, MR, Generative, Biological, Cognitive), Sensory Domains, Presence Types, and Experience Flow stages

• State → Trait Design: Understanding how temporary experiential states (awe, flow, presence) can be translated into lasting traits (resilience, empathy, mindfulness) through intentional design

• Hyper-Reality Design: The craft of creating impossible experiences that dissolve boundaries between the real and imagined, expanding what participants perceive as possible

• Context Engineering: The deliberate restructuring of the context of the experience to enhance and expand perception, cognition and cultivate integration.

• Ontological Design: The practice of designing environments that, in turn, design us back

• Ethical Frameworks: Developing a strong foundation in consent, harm reduction, inclusivity, and responsible innovation

• Technical Literacy: Understanding the landscape of VR/AR/MR platforms, audiovisual systems, biofeedback devices, and emerging technologies—not to build them yourself, but to speak the language, evaluate possibilities, and collaborate effectively with technical teams

Throughout the course, you'll work on practical projects that build your portfolio while exploring cutting-edge research from neuroscience, psychology, and contemplative traditions. You'll learn from real-world case studies including experiences from the Cyberdelic Society.
